Pastel Meringues

Hmm...  can anyone tell me how meringues taste like? I've never tried them but they look so pretty that I had to make miniature versions of them. I never had the courage to eat them as they look like sugar overload. I'm really afraid of overly sweet food stuff. These miniature meringues unexpectedly placed me on many Treasury lists featuring pastel colors on Etsy. I feel so flattered! Welcome to the world of pastels. Hope you like these photos. ^_^

They look exactly like 1:1. You are right about the real ones being too sweet but they are very decorative on any scale. Great work!

Good meringues are simply delicious. They should be light and crunchy on the outside and soft and gooey in the middle in my opinion.
Go on try one!!

Real meringues are delicious when well made, even though they are a sugar overload! And yours are perfect miniatures - without the calories. They look wonderful. Hugs, Sandie (Snippets from my Studio)
